Scholarships

For several years we have tried to provide support to those who need some support to attend the Learning Exchange.  Early on we learned that although we could not help with transportation, we could help with housing and other costs.

Scholarships are funded through donations from Future Search Network members.  Would you be willing to make a contribution?  If so, please include your donation when you send in your registration or, if you can't attend this year, please consider sending a contribution to help someone else attend.  Please send your contribution to Sally Theilacker at the Future Search office and make sure we know that you are sending support for the scholarship.  Scholarship assistance will be determined by the amount of donations we receive.

If you live in the Philadelphia area and can "host" someone at your home, please let Sally know. We thank you in advance for your generosity.  Please indicate your desire to host a Learning Exchange participant at your home on the registration form.

The conference fee for this year's Learning Exchange is $230.  This represents real expenses for meeting space, meals and materials.  We will try to defray as much of this cost as possible for those requesting scholarships.

We will also try to provide a place to stay in a local home.  Rooms will be provided on a first-come-first-serve basis with preference given to those requesting scholarship help.  Please include this request on your registration form.

If you would like scholarship assistance, please let Sally Theilacker know when you send in your registration.  Please let us know by April 1.

The scholarship committee will review resources and requests in April and work to provide as much assistance as possible to those who request it.
